Not everyone is born with perfect features.  It is up to the portrait artist to present you in the most favorable way.

      Unlike a painter, who can adjust flaws with a stoke of their brush, a photographer must know where to position light sources and what camera angle that would provide a more pleasing portrait. Also, a photographer must have the ability to retouch the image in the darkroom, be it conventional or digital.

     Our photo sessions are quite different.  Not only do we usually use natural settings, we strive to capture the subject's unique personalities.  This can happen at the subject's home, place of business, public park or the beach.  We encourage our clients to be creative, to bring any props they want, change outfits as often as they want.  We like to consult our clients before the photo session to ascertain what "mood" or "theme" they want to reflect in their photographs.  Because of this, every photo session is as unique as you are.
